BUILDING SYSTEMS FOR POULTRY HOUSES

Novasteel offers complete flexibility in the design of Poultry Houses. Shed dimensions can be tailored to suit individual grower requirements and various material options can be selected.

Shed designs can be considered with the following options;

  • Tunnel, Crossflow or Composite ventilation systems - total design flexibility to create an optimum environment.
  • Evaporative cooling pad systems.
  • Multi skin lining systems incorporating Coloursteel, Fibreglass or alternative composite materials allowing ease of cleaning.
  • Insulated freezer panel wall construction options.
  • Range of insulation ratings depending on climatic requirements.
  • Clear span or propped span structural options, narrow or wide shed formats.

The traditional construction system utilises a multi component structure and lining system, offering the grower very good long term shed durability with maintenance costs being very low. This system incorporates a steel portal frame primary structure with engineering grade timber secondary members. The timber structural members are lined both sides with specialist linings and insulation materials. The nib wall panels are constructed using a concrete tilt up pre-casting method, providing a dense durable and hygienic structural base to the building.
